Advancing Data Integration for IDEA Success in Nevada with CIID
Nevada Department of Education (NDE) faced significant challenges in integrating and using IDEA-related data across multiple systems, limiting its ability to make informed decisions to improve outcomes for children and youth with disabilities. Recognizing the urgency of building a unified data system, Nevada partnered with the Center for the Integration of IDEA Data (CIID) to implement CIID’s Generate tool. This collaboration enabled NDE to address their data challenges and create a sustainable infrastructure that supports evidence-based decision-making, fosters accountability, and ultimately improves the educational outcomes of special education students across the state.
